When will runDisney Marathon weekend Corrals/Waivers/Course Maps/Event Guides drop?
That just depends. The official line is 2 weeks before the race, but they’ve come out in early or mid-December over the past years. Last year was December 19- and guess what? It happened again on December 19, 2019. Look at that!
Here’s a reminder of how things work each year:
Typically the runDisney event guides show up first, with the course maps included. You can also find some information on corralling inside the event guides (usually an indication of how many corrals will be set up for each race distance, but no details on placement).
If you want to check out what happened last year, here are the 2019 Disney World Marathon Corrals, Waivers, Course Maps & Event Guide to give you some idea of what to expect.
Disney World Marathon Weekend Waivers
Runner Tracking link: HERE
Download and print the waiver and it will give you your bib number (lower right-hand part of the form).
To know where you will be starting your race, first, you need to download your waiver. Do that HERE

Sorry, 5K and 10K runners; corrals are not released for these races.
Important to note: Wave starts within smaller corrals means you want to go ahead and arrive in your corral EARLY.
2020 Disney World Marathon Weekend Event Guide
This is the best source of information you can find on the Disney World Marathon weekend outside of personal experience.
Definitely take a look at the Event Guide and check out each section. There’s a lot of great info here and you don’t want to miss it.
As a reminder, a digital copy is the only one available; runDisney does NOT print these out any longer.

Spectator Locations for the Marathon Weekend
This is from the Event Guide and should be noted:
- For your safety, spectator viewing on our open roadways and overpasses is not allowed, but don’t worry – this is where our fabulous volunteers and famous Disney Entertainment come in to play to keep your runner motivated between the times they see you.
- For our runners’ safety, please refrain from distribution of any food and/or beverage items to runners or participants along the racecourse. This action is strictly prohibited.

2020 Disney World Marathon Weekend Course Maps
Where are you running? If you’re doing the marathon… EVERYWHERE!
And yes, this course is both PRable and BQable if that’s your wish.
Heads up: Changes as we run through Epcot this year are the biggest points to note for the half and the full marathon courses. Oh- and NO ESPN this year. Wowza!

Are you running for Oswald?
Eh… I mean, I am, but I’m not thrilled with this one TBH.
Don’t forget the Merchandise and Expo
In case you missed it: the runDisney Marathon Dooney’s are available to purchase. These won’t last on the site much longer; grab them while you can.
NEW this year: You can also see a preview of the Marathon Weekend jackets before you can buy them on your runDisney account.
Don’t forget you MUST go by the expo for your bib pick up (and other fun things if you are up for it!)

Walking up to this sign on the way into the Expo is the best start to our race weekends!

This question is asked all the time: how do I get my race pictures from runDisney races?
Check out this post on PhotoPass and runDisney and this one for tips to great race pictures then keep these codes handy until you’re ready to link up.

Hi! Where are the Dooneys for preorder? I’ve been looking everywhere and don’t see them. I didn’t think they had them this year. Thanks!

I haven't seen those either! I wonder if they are only doing them for Princess this year. Those are available and have been for a while but I didn't ever see Marathon Dooneys

Hey Zack!
You can try on your phone vs laptop- sometimes it works in the app. But the official answer is to wait until race morning to link the bibs to your My Disney Experience account.
