Everyone Likes Choices! Make Yours: Pink or Blue?

ooohhh… isn’t it pretty?!

As you probably know, runDisney added the option of a Pink Coast to Coast Medal for 2014.  This is only for runners finishing the Tinker Bell Half AND the Princess Half Marathon in 2014.

A new email released today sheds light on the confusing issue of a runner who registered for the Walt Disney World Marathon or Half Marathon, Tinker Bell, and the Princess Half.  Historically, you would recieve the Coast to Coast medal after completing one East coast race and one West coast race.  In this case, you would receive your medal after the Tinker Bell Half.

And it would be this one.

Gorgeous I tell ya!

Which is lovely- my favorite medal so far to be honest!  But NOT what the Princesses out there wanted.  They really really reeaaallllyyy wanted the pink medal.

runDisney heard, and they responed.  Here’s the official email sent to participants registered for the first 3 eligible races of 2014.

You get to choose.  Blue or Pink- email them to let them know.  They also encourage you to earn a second- yes, a SECOND- Coast to Coast medal in 2014 by registering for the Disneyland Half Marathon.  This registration will open in January 2014, so you have a little bit of time to consider… okay, never mind, I KNOW you people.

It’s a done deal.

So let me amend… a little bit of time to save up the money to register when it open.

Are you in for Coast to Coast to Coast to Coast in 2014?

Silly Shenanigans. Of course you are.

Extra core training just to be able to hold all that bling on your neck!

So.... if you happened to sign up for all the challenges (Dopey, GSC and Dumbo) and ran the half at Tink... you could earn 15 medals?!!! They should give you a free medal display with it!

I've never done the math for that - 15 medals?! Insanely awesome I say!

Yep- you did your math right! And I totally agree- a medal holder is DUE with that haul. Crazy!
