runDisney Wine and Dine 2019: Course Maps, Event Guide, Corrals and more!
It’s ALMOST time! The Disney Wine and Dine 2019 course maps and event guide are out now! Corrals will be coming SOON to the runDisney website. This is where you’ll find everything you need to know for running the Disney Wine and Dine 2019 race.
So I’m that one weird Disney runner who didn’t love the runDisney Wine and Dine race weekend. I went in 2013 when it was held at night, and I went back in 2018.
And this race weekend, for whatever reason, doesn’t do it for me. Though that precious Mickey medal above almost had me coming out of retirement! Almost, ha.
Sarah, however, thinks the runDisney Wine and Dine is the best runDisney race weekend. Do you agree?
2019 brings a few changes including a new 5K park to run through for the Wine and Dine. We don’t have the Wine and Dine course maps just yet, but I’ll add them as soon as they are available.
Here is the 2018 Wine and Dine course maps, event guide, corrals and more post to tide you over until the 2019 race info is out.

Why do I make this post every year when runDisney shares the info as well? Because, as they say, screenshots last forever. And runners like to look back on previous courses and corrals and obsess a little.
You know it’s true!
I do this for all the runDisney events; so hang around if you’re looking for the Ultimate Guide to runDisney.
So here we go: my annual guide to running Disney Wine and Dine. You’ll find all the information a runner needs to know before they the runDisney Wine and Dine 2019 including course maps, corrals, waivers, and event guide.
This is a living document, so information will be added as it comes out.

Need more info? Of course, you do!
Be sure to check out the Disney Wine and Dine 2019 event guide as well.
runDisney has taken to using the same link for each race so once a certain time has passed this link will become the Walt Disney World Marathon event guide.
And the event guide is no longer going to be printed out, so this is what you get, folks!
Don’t forget to visit the Wine and Food Festival in Epcot. I suggest *after* the run, but hey, I’m not your mother.
Drinking around the World is a fun experience, but one you’ll need to do after the race (World Showcase is closed during the runs. Boo!)
And be sure to check out the Wine and Dine Virtual Goodie Bag, too.
runDisney PhotoPass Pictures
My most favorite thing runDisney has ever done was change to PhotoPass photographers for a runDisney race weekend.
Huge improvement in service and quality of photos since they started this- much appreciated!
If you’ve purchased Memory Maker before the Disney Wine and Dine 2019 race weekend, you can link your photos from the races using these codes.
They can’t be linked in advance, so just remember to link up post-race or the morning of the race.
Here’s the PhotoPass code info you need for the 2019 Wine and Dine race.

You might want to know a little about the weather. While it’s way too soon to start weather stalking (I get it, I do!) here’s some information that might help answer the question What’s the Weather Like for Wine and Dine Half Marathon Weekend?
Need more 2019 Wine and Dine Medal shots? Check out this post to see the bling you’ll be collecting!

Patty Holliday has been running Disney since 2011. She knows just about every tip, trick, and hack there is to cover the runDisney Magical Miles at Disney World and Disneyland. She knows every mile isn’t *always* magical- but with training, tips, and a little bit of pixie dust, they can be a lot of fun! You can also find her at noguiltlife.com and noguiltfangirl.com
I am disappointed with being in the last coral where I submitted my 1:2 marathon run in with my registration ba k when it opened .
Time was 2;07:07 or seconds off . Definitely under 2:08:00
Was certainly figuring would be around coral c/d
???????
Please contact me.
I’m so sorry to hear that! I don’t have any say in how people are corralled (wish I did!). I’d contact runDisney directly, but most likely this will need to be discussed at the Expo. Bring your proof of time print out and see what they can do for you at the expo.
Patty, any idea how many minutes between corral start times?
Sooo— they changed things up a few years ago to the “mini waves” process. Inside each corral, they let people off in mini-waves of 200 or so every 2 minutes. For Wine and Dine from start to finish usually takes 30-40 minutes for all the corrals to release, but the waves might factor in a little more. I’d say 3-5 waves in each corral (more for the bigger corrals in the back). Wish I had a better answer, but your best bet for early release is to be in the front of your corral so you are in one of the first mini-waves!
Hi Patty,
How do you know how many people started the half marathon? They only post finishers data.
Thanks!
They don’t share that number, however there’s usually 100-300 people swept from the half marathons at runDisney. So the finisher numbers aren’t far off!
Thanks! Have a great day. 🙂
