Is This Disney Dining Worth It? Roundup Rodeo BBQ Review (2023)
Spending money on making memories at Disney World can be “easy” to do. Especially when it comes to feeding you and your family.
But trying to decide where to spend your Disney dollars wisely isn’t always easy.
Is Roundup Rodeo BBQ in Toy Story Land worth it?
That depends on a few factors, but we’ll run down the ins and outs before you book those Advanced Dining Reservations 60 days in advance.

Is Roundup Rodeo BBQ A Character Dining Experience?
This is NOT a character dining experience- though it 100% should be!
Roundup Rodeo BBQ has the potential (and the price tag- ouch) to be a character dining experience.
At this time, it is not a place to meet and greet Toy Story characters.
Could that change? We hope it’s considered in the future, otherwise, this would be a one-and-done experience for our family.

Roundup Rodeo BBQ Review: Family-Style Dining At Disney World
This brand-new sit-down dining experience is served family-style, which means the whole table orders the same thing.
You’ll be served 3 courses: salads, a main meal, and dessert.
While you can choose your sides, you are limited to 4 of them. So your entire party will need to agree on what 4 options to choose.
The good news is that you can each order separate desserts and drinks, both of which offer some delicious choices.

How Much Does Roundup Rodeo BBQ Cost (2023)?

Is The Food At Worth The Price?
In our opinion, the food was pretty darn good.
This meal brings a TON of food out for each table, and you are welcome to order more if you want seconds. Or thirds.
Everything we tried (and we tried a little of everything) was perfectly prepared. And for a family-style meal, that can be rare.
We also felt that this meal had plenty for adults and adventurous eaters, but also gave familiar options for the kids who may not be ready for the weirder options.
If you have a big appetite or really enjoy trying new things, the variety was absolutely there.
You won’t leave Roundup Rodeo BBQ hungry, that’s for sure!

Is Roundup Rodeo BBQ Worth It?
While we enthusiastically felt the food was worth the price tag in volume alone, we do think it was a bit too much for smaller groups.
If you are a family of big eaters, this is going to satisfy your crew.
But if you are a smaller group or prefer to order off the kid’s menus at Disney, this meal will be way too much food for you. And you can’t take it home with you.
We cannot stress enough: it’s a lot of food.
We were told that the uneaten food is composted and repurposed, so it’s not a complete waste if you cannot finish what is served.
What you’re additionally paying for at Roundup Rodeo BBQ is a more than decent meal served in air conditioning. As they say: location, location, location.
It’s in Disney’s Hollywood Studios located just inside Toy Story Land.
Getting off your feet mid-theme park day for a casual meal with is what makes this Disney dining worth it.
Our overall experience was excellent as far as food quality, great place location, and theming wise, we just wish it offered character interactions as well.
