Why Use The Disney Dining Plan?
It really comes down to a matter of convenience and the ability to be the “Yes Mom and Dad.”
What does being the Yes Mom or Dad look like?
Since your meals are already paid for when you sit down and your kiddo asks if they can order the steak you get to say YES, YES YOU CAN!
It’s kinda nice to do, especially on vacation.
So does this mean that you save money on the Disney Dining Plan?
Not typically- unless you get really strategic and order the most expensive options every meal.
But knowing the bulk of your meal budget is already paid in full is a great way to relax on vacation at Walt Disney World.

What Comes With The Disney Dining Plan?
You are pre-paying for your meals and snacks at Walt Disney World when you use the Disney Dining Plan (DDP).
The DDP will be available for all reservations checking in on or after January 9, 2024.
You must include the DDP for every person on the reservation 3 or older and it will apply to every night of the reservation.
