When two of my most favorite Disney experiences sync up like this, I get stupid happy! runDisney is going to be at the 2019 D23 Expo – and you can earn the Black Panther Virtual Medal at the convention. Running, costumes, special swag and there’s even a playlist you don’t want to miss! Here’s what we know about D23 Expo and runDisney.

What Does D23 Expo and runDisney Have In Common? Black Panther- Duh
If you’re a big Disney fan, then you probably know about the 2019 D23 Expo that’s coming to Anaheim in August.
If you aren’t familiar with it, go ahead and read the 23 things you need to know about the D23 Expo.
In short, it’s Comic-Con for Disney fans- and basically, it’s my Super Bowl. Except it doesn’t happen every year and Tom Brady isn’t the MVP, so it’s even more special than that silly football game.
I’ve gone to two of the events and you’ll definitely be seeing me at the panels in 2019.
What does runDisney have to do with D23 Expo? They just announced a fun tie-in which made me appreciate my tendency to procrastinate.

Earn The August Marvel Virtual 5K Medal At D23 Expo
runDisney and D23 Expo are offering a special something for the runDisney Marvel Virtual 5K runners who are attending the Expo.
It looks like you need to sign up with this link in order to be eligible, however, which is a bummer for those that signed up in advance.
But if you are like me and put this off for way too long, ahem, here’s your chance to not only earn the awesome Black Panther medal but to also get a little extra gift for being at the Expo. The 2019 summer virtual races are sold out through runDisney, so if you need Black Panther on your medal rack, this is your chance!
Bonus: you can pick up the medal at the Expo so you don’t even have to keep running out to the mailbox to check and see if it showed up.
NOTE: You must have a D23 Expo badge to get in and pick up this medal. If you aren’t going to the expo, then this isn’t the medal for you!
And there’s a runDisney Virtual Race Series playlist on Spotify, too. The songs are pretty spot on if you are a big Marvel fan and they will certainly get you running.
