Be Incredible this summer with the 2018 runDisney Virtual Running Shorts. That’s right: virtual racing with medals! It’s Incredible! 2018 runDisney Virtual Racing
This is the 3rd year running for runDisney’s Virtual Running Shorts which gives runners the chance to participate in runDisney events anywhere they want over the summer.
Virtual racing is a ton of fun- and a great way to keep yourself moving when you don’t have a race on the calendar.
The runDisney virtual run series seems to be a big hit and this year, it’s going to be INCREDIBLE!
I honestly squealed when I saw these virtual racing medals.

Incredibles 2
If you haven’t picked up on it, Disney is big on synergy.
We have Edna Mode at the Incredible Summer at Disney World.
Pixar Pier featuring the Incredicoaster is opening at Disneyland.
And there’s this little movie that some of us have been waiting 14 long years for: the Incredibles 2 opens on June 15, 2018, in theaters nationwide!
2018 runDisney Virtual 5K s
The details are up on runDisney.com now but we’re lacking one important date: when can you sign up for the 2018 runDisney Virtual Running Shorts?
I’ll be sure to update when I know- don’t you worry!
The first virtual 5K run takes place from June 1- June 30 and features my favorite Disney mom: Mrs. Incredible.
The second virtual 5K run takes place from July 1 to July 31. Sounds like a great way to earn get your 4th of July miles in by running like a Super with Mr. Incredible and Violet.
And the third virtual 5K takes place August 1 to August 31. Be quick about it: you gotta earn that Dash and Jack Jack medal, amirite?!
By signing up and completing all three of these virtual racing events you’ll earn that gorgeous Incredibles logo medal!

Summer’s ultimate super hero running challenge—three 5Ks, four Incredibles Finisher Medals and 9.3 miles of fun!
The runDisney Virtual Running Shorts Series combines all three Running Shorts 5Ks for the summer’s ultimate running experience. Complete all three Running Shorts 5Ks within the scheduled dates and you’ll earn the Incredibles Series Medal in addition to the June, July and August Finisher Medals, magnet frame, resistance band and hot/cold gel pack.

Dates, times, prices and inclusions subject to change.
*You must register for the Virtual Running Shorts Series in order to receive the Series medal, resistance band and hot/cold gel pack. Series Participants will receive their commemorative medals, frame, resistance band and gel pack in the mail at the physical address provided at the point of registration. Please note that medals cannot be shipped to a PO Box or APO Box. In addition, medals shipped outside the U.S. will require an international shipping charge of $15.
And think about it: if you are running the virtual racing challenge 2018 miles in 2018 with Run the Edge, this is a fun way to add to those miles over the long hot summer to come!

The medals are so super cute! I’ve never done the RD virtuals just because they are pricey to me for what they are, but I do love those cute medals

Hey Emily! All we know is what you know- so, not much. Ha. We haven’t heard any reason for the postponements but are still selling race packages since we have been told the races will go on.
