What’s On Cape May Cafe Minnie’s Beach Bash Breakfast Menu?
This is one of our favorite breakfast buffets at Walt Disney World because the food is delightful.
There’s a lot of variety to be had, and most of it was familiar enough, but also fancy enough, to justify the price tag.
If you have picky eaters, there is plenty of familiar food to satisfy them at this breakfast.
And can we say ‘omelet station’? That’s not something we’ve seen at most character breakfasts at Disney World.
Our breakfast buffet had the following:
- Salted Caramel “Beach Buns” served with Vanilla Cream
- Selection of Fruits
- Oatmeal and Grits
- Waffles, Pancakes, and French Toast
- Cheddar Biscuits and Gravy
- Scrambled Eggs, Bacon, and Sausage
- Tortillas to make breakfast tacos
- Vanilla and Chocolate Crepes
- Omelet and Carving Stations
- Mickey-shaped and Minnie-shaped Waffles
- Chocolate Chip Pancakes
- Potato Barrels
- POG juice (passion fruit-orange-guava)
Is The Food At Minnie’s Beach Bash Breakfast Worth The Price?
In our opinion, the food was pretty darn good.
This is one of the few buffets that we felt was worth the $45 price tag when it came to variety and quality of the meal.
Everything we tried (and we tried a little of most on the buffet) was perfectly prepared. And for a buffet, that can be rare.
There was plenty of traditional Disney breakfast items (like the Minnie waffles and potato barrels) but we also loved the addition of the crepes and the omelet station.
If you have a big appetite or really enjoy trying new things, the variety was absolutely there in this buffet-style meal.
You won’t leave Cape May Cafe hungry, that’s for sure!
Is Cape May Cafe Minnie’s Beach Bash Breakfast Character Dining Worth It?
While we enthusiastically felt the food was worth the price tag alone, we also recognize that we aren’t really paying for the food.
What you’re additionally paying for at Cape May Cafe is a more than decent meal with outstanding interaction from your favorite Disney characters. As well as location, location, location.
It is located in the Beach Club Resort, which is easily accessible from the Boardwalk Skyliner station or Epcot’s International Gateway entrance.
If you plan to start your day at Epcot or Hollywood Studios, this is a great first stop.
Starting a theme park day with a casual meal with character entertainment is what makes Disney character dining worth it.
Our overall experience was excellent as far as food quality, great place location and theming wise, and character interactions.
Characters At Cape May Cafe Minnie’s Beach Bash Breakfast: Review
You’ll be visited by Minnie, Donald, Daisy, and Goofy all dressed in themed beachy outfits. Mickey Mouse and Pluto do not have character meets at the Beach Club restaurant.
But the beach crew are absolutely adorable and make plenty of time at each table for guest interactions.
There’s also a short song that’s played and the characters dance with each other and circle around the dining room to the delight of kids ages 2 to 92.
If you want the best way to get family pictures with most of the Fab 5- and not stand in long lines all day chasing them!– this is hands down one of the best Disney character meals at the Walt Disney World Resort to accomplish just that.
