Tinker Bell 2014 Corrals, Maps, Waivers… Oh My!

Sharing is caring!

Woke up to a beautiful site:  Tinker Bell 2014 race information has been posted!  Here’s a quick rundown so you don’t have to search for it all.

Corrals:  I’m already hearing that these are pretty messed up.  People with 2:30 proof of times submitted have been placed in F corral.  There’s going to be some unhappy Tinkers calling runDisney this morning!  As a reminder, the rules have changed:  there will be NO changes unless there was something at error on runDisney’s end.  I have seen reports of changes made to Marathon weekend corrals based on proven mistakes (ie, runDisney emailed you saying your Proof of Time was accepted but you still end up in last corral with people offering no proof of time.)

Waivers can be printed from HERE.

Tink 10K Map: I’m on the fence about this one.  Still processing since I expected it to look just like the Disneyland 10K.  It’s pretty different.

Tink Half Marathon Map: same as last year.  Phew.  Great course!

So are you excited?  Ready to FLY?!

Wow - really glad I ran the DL 10K last August - that course was GREAT! I don't mind time outside the park, but loved that it was at the beginning of the race, instead of the end. Wonder why they changed it for Tink.

I can't believe how close it is now! Just printed my waiver, I'm in corral A. The husband though who has a much faster time then I do (He's 1:35 POT and I am 2:08) is in B...

As far as I know there are no men in Corral A...last Tink '13 there were no.men in A or B.

definitely on the fence about the 10k. kind of disappointed after how great the DL10k looked...guess I'll just have to do that one!

Good to go! Corral C. I'm fine with that. Probably means I'll head for B. I think Disney's corral arrangement is fine for crowd control at the start line, but unless you're a really fast runner, it's ridiculous. Once everyone gets in the parks and starts lining up for photos, it's a worthless system. After falling back to the last corral at Disneyland last year with friends doing their first half, I think it shortchanges a whole lot of people. We could barely take any photos because of the time limitations. Thank you for posting this today!

Yay! I'm excited! I'm also on the fence about the 10k course. I'm not a huge fan that the last 2 miles are outside the parks (as opposed to the DL 10k where it was the first 2). Plus, there's no Downtown Disney!

Just noticed- does the 10k NOT go through the castle?
