Flying Home Friday Free For All

This is a thing, right?   Well, I just made it one.

I have a few hours to kill while waiting on my flight back to the good old (warm) AZ.  It’s always with mixed emotions when I board a flight going or coming home from one of the magical racations I cover in this blog.

I hate to leave my kids.  But… I love to leave my kids.

I hate to leave the Magic of Disney.  But… I love to leave FOR the Magic of my family.

I’ll be the first to admit that I have a pretty great life:  good kids, a supportive and loving husband, parents that help with our busy schedule and the physical & financial ability to travel for these experiences.

#Blessed might be overused, but it’s 100% #truestory in my case.

Here’s a few things I’m going to write up in the next couple of weeks- should my children’s baseball schedule not kill me first.

I’m sharing this because when I turned on my phone this morning the ever complicated baseball schedule for THREE children came through via text from Mr. Shenanigans.

Mercy- I need another vacation.  Ha.

Side note about baseball- I love my children.  I want them to be active.  I love sports.  I love to support them in their dreams.  But man, why couldn’t they stick to the one sport I picked out for them (ahem, soccer!) instead of switching to one of the longest and most boring sports EVAH.  Sorry, but it’s true.  The games at this age are just not full of excitement- ask the kid in right field who is playing in the dirt!

I know this falls under the heading of “Proof that our kids are little PEOPLE who will make their own choices as the grow up”.   Small sob as I recognize that they will indeed do things I do not like.  Playing baseball is most likely the least of my concerns going forward, I know.  Oh trust me, I know.

Okay- so topics coming up SOON:

Senses Day Spa review!

It’s all great information that I hope can help you guys out in some way.

As a reminder: All you Annual Passholders and DVC members need to be online Tuesday morning, March 3, if you want first crack at Wine & Dine registration.   This race hasn’t sold out in hours in the past, BUT that could change this year and I don’t want anyone to miss out.

I hope everyone had a fabulous week- I can’t wait to get home, hug my family, and dive into a new routine.  Things have been a little nutty for me since November, so I’m looking forward to downtime and getting my general life back in order!

How do you feel at the end of a vacation?  Do you look forward to getting back to the daily routine of house and home?
