Patty Holliday has been running Disney since 2011. She knows just about every tip, trick, and hack there is to cover the runDisney Magical Miles at Disney World and Disneyland. She knows every mile isn’t *always* magical- but with training, tips, and a little bit of pixie dust, they can be a lot of fun! You can also find her at noguiltlife.com and noguiltfangirl.com

I love the Glass Slipper price! LOL. I figured it would be expensive, but it's still cheaper than dinner for five at O'Hana, if that puts it in perspective .

You know, that DOES help! And per mile, it's not that bad, really. LOL $13.73 per mile. #DisneyMath

Ouch! I don't think I'm going to be able to afford Disney races anymore!

It's the sad truth. Adding the extra days to a trip for the additional races plus the costs going up... it's starting to hurt. Even my always-open-wallet for runDisney is groaning a bit. I feel ya Catherine.

And don't forget the fact that I'll be doing Tink and W&D ;)
I'm not surpised, but I really do think my runDisney days are numbered. Tink will be the last to go but I'm sure in a couple of years it will be the only one I do.

I deleted your second posting- just because it was a duplicate, FYI!
And yep--- YOU WILL BE THERE! I gotta work my wiles to get W&D again next year, but it's my plan for the anniversary medal. ;)

I was thinking about running the Princess in 2014, but ... I don't know. I think I might do some of the more "fun" Disney runs (EE and Wine & Dine) and do my half marathons at Space Coast and locally. I've noticed price jumps over the past few years when I was researching running the Wine & Dine, and I feel like I might get priced out of some of the bigger runDisney events soon.

I agree. I wasn't planning on doing PHM this year, until they released the Challenge. Now I'm all in- but I am also thinking this will be the last PHM I do for a while.
I'll look at Tink and W&D in the future- not because they are cheaper, but they are less... I don't know... drama? lol I'm also doing Space Coast this year- hoping to fall in love! :)

Thanks for the info! I wrote a post with my cost predictions back when the Glass Slipper was announced. Looks like I was off by $10- what happened to the half price jump?! http://domesticgoddessconfessions.blogspot.com/2013/04/new-enchanted-10k-glass-slipper.html

I'm guessing the half is $160 since the WDW half is $160. It's not the usual $10/year price increase, but Disneyland's price has been increasing $25/year, so it's not too bad?

Great post Kim! No idea why- it's a bit steep, right?
