Here’s Your Sign | Tuesdays On the Run
Hello and welcome to Tuesdays On the Run! Go over and say hi to Erika and April, my co-hosts.
This is our weekly link-up dedicated to running topics. We usually provide you with a prompt but you are always welcome to link up any running related post.
This week we are going to talk about the signs you see on the course. Not the ones saying “Mile 5” or “Aid Station” but the ones fellow runners or spectators share with you.
I’m looking for some ideas since I plan to spectate a half marathon in September, so link up some good ones!
Here’s Your Sign
I think I look forward to the spectators the most. I’m sure you’ve seen this before:
I invented that.
Okay, not really, but it’s pretty accurate.
What I like about spectator signs is that they can speak to YOU even when they weren’t written FOR YOU.
And this one
And this one
I love to see the humor of spectators.
Especially when they know their audience.

I saw this one on a Facebook group.
It was not written for me or by me… but my husband SWEARS it’s all about me.
Hrrrmmphh. But still very funny.
My favorite signs are the ones that are REALLY just for me though!
When they are held by some of your BRFs, it’s even better.
Perhaps you saw this at the Walt Disney World Marathon?

Or this one at the Princess 10K?

And this one.
We miss you, Peggy Sue.

Do you have a favorite saying or sign you’ve seen on the course? I’d love to hear what keeps you moving!
