New Security Measures at Disney Parks
This probably was a long time coming. There are new security measures in place at the Disney parks including metal detectors and banning of all guns (real or not).

“We continually review our comprehensive approach to security and are implementing additional security measures, as appropriate,” Disney said in a statement Thursday.
What does this mean to you?
Allow for extra time in the coming visits to make it through the entrance.
Be patient.
And of course, leave your weapons at home!
Toy guns will no longer be sold in the parks as part of this measure.

Reports are also saying no one over the age of 14 may wear a mask in the park (think Halloween parties). The Orlando Sentinel takes it a step further saying adults will not be able to attend the parks in costume at all.
Wow, right?
Makes me wonder what the runDisney policies may change to. I think it’s safe to assume that ALL guns (Star Wars runners, take note!) will no longer be allowed.

What do you think about these changes? Will you feel safer with these systems in place?
