2014 Year in Review
My 2014 was filled, as usual, with runDisney events.
Here are the highlights.
January 2014: Tinker Bell 10K and Half marathon
Race recap for 10K here and half here.
February: Princess 5K, 10K, Half Marathon (Glass Slipper Challenge)
Catch up on all things Princess here.
March: Phoenix Half Marathon
We were moving into our new house right after this race, so I never quite got the recap written.
To sum up: it’s slightly downhill, they had fireworks at the begining (which I have come to expect ha ha ha) and GREAT crowd and finish line support.
I FULLY recommend this race to anyone looking for a PR and a good time.
August: Dumbo Dare Challenge
10K recap here and half recap here.
October: Esprit de She 5K and Surf City 10K
Recap for Esprit de She and Surf City 10.
November: Avengers 5K and Avengers Half Marathon
5K race recap here. Avengers half recap… errrr… next week? It could happen!
Looking forward to 2015. There’s some repeats on the schedule but I think a few new ones will be added in as well.
I am 99% sure I will not run the Dumbo Dare again (training in the summer in Arizona is INSANITY, y’all). But I’m ok with that since runDisney added new races at Disneyland to take it’s place. I’m pretty excited to run Star Wars next month and Avengers again next year.
Tell me about your 2014! Which race was your favorite or most memorable?
