The official 2020-2021 runDisney race season was all about virtual events.
If virtuals aren’t your thing, and you’re hopeful for a return to racing in person for the 2022-2023 runDisney season take note.
We’re going to talk about how you can be prepared for registration day for the 2023 runDisney Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend.

2023 runDisney Marathon Weekend Dates
January 4-8, 2023.
Historically, the Walt Disney World Marathon race weekend happen the first weekend following New Year’s Day.
There will also be a virtual option!

CONFIRMED.
runDisney was back for the 2021-22 race season and here we go with registering for the 2023 race!
We have a Wine and Dine Half Marathon Weekend, A Marathon Weekend, and a Princess Half Weekend scheduled. PLUS a Springtime Surprise coming!
- November 3-6, 2022 for Wine and Dine
- January 4-8, 2023 for Marathon Weekend
- February 23-26 for Princess Half Marathon Weekend
- April 13- April 16- Springtime Surprise Weekend
How To Register For the 2023 runDisney Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend
First thing you should note: the runDisney community is a PASSIONATE one.
And once there’s a chance to runDisney again, you know they will show up and show out.
What does that mean for you?
It means super-fast race sellouts and a chance you could miss out if you are not prepared.
In the past, runDisney offered early registration for a couple of groups. It looks like only Club runDisney members will have access to early entry at this time.
General Registration for In-Person Races Opens April 19, 2022 at 10 AM EST

Any word on what they did for people that we're registered when the race was cancelled last year? Does that guarantee them entry into this race? Or was everyone just refunded?

Folks were refunded or switched to the virtual option. They do not have entry guaranteed for this race.
