In these unprecedented times, one thing is certain: teachers continue to bring new and creative educational tools to the classroom. Virtual or real classroom, it doesn’t matter- your Disney loving teacher has it handled! One teacher created an entire Disney ears collection based on a Disney alphabet of characters. Here’s how you can teach- but make it Disney!- by downloading this free Disney Alphabet Printables PDF.
They take my precious babies and turn them into thinking, writing, mathing, brilliant little humans- teaching is just something that I have very little patience for.
And certainly, zero qualifications to do.
Teachers, from the bottom of my momma heart: thank you.
Especially for all you’re continuing to do during this crazy back-to-school time of 2022!
This story and these gorgeous Disney alphabet ears jumped out to me from one of my favorite Facebook groups.
Jenny shared her amazing collaboration of ears with us that she created for her incredible aunt’s classroom.
I am not exaggerating: I gasped as I scrolled through each picture.
I may also be a little dramatic and might very much miss Disney. Ahem. But you all know that!
Take a look and I know you’ll agree with me: the creativity and talent are astounding on these custom Minnie ears.
I mean, hello adorable G is for Groot!

The Story Behind the Disney Alphabet Ears Project
by Jenny Pacheco
Our family’s multi-generational love for Disney runs deep. So much so that we’re convinced there’s a genetic component to loving the mouse: DisneyDNA.
For us, Disneyland is our escape from our mundane responsibilities and a chance to be a kid again.
The smell of pirate water, the sound of the train whistle on Main Street, and watching the wonder in our kids’ eyes are experiences that only Disney can provide.
Those churros don’t hurt either!
When my aunt was assigned to teach kindergarten this school year, she was excited to incorporate her love for Disney in her classroom.
She came up with the idea to use Disney ears to represent each letter of the alphabet to give her kindergarteners both a visual and an auditory understanding of each letter.
So we got to work making 26 pairs of ears!
These are now hung in her classroom above the whiteboard, ready to help the next generation of kids learn how to read.
The best teachers inspire their students because they are passionate about the material they teach.
I know my aunt’s passion for Disney and teaching will be a big success with her students, and this year’s kindergarten class will love learning their letters and sounds in this unique way!
If you want to show some appreciation and love for hardworking teachers, consider visiting the link for Ms. Abramson’s classroom wish list and sending a little happy her way for the school year.
And if you love the ears, give @second_star_to_the_right_ears a follow on Instagram!
Cheers,
Jenny Pacheco (ear maker) and Michelle Abramson (coolest kindergarten teacher)
